Intro to Ayurvedic Psychology™ Course
%20(16).png)
We all know that the body keeps the score (our bodies store trauma), but did you know that Ayurveda holds the ancient wisdom on where and how trauma gets stored in the physical, energetic, mental and emotional layers of the body?
After this four-session course, you’ll:
-
Understand how trauma is stored at the intersection of the gunas, koshas, chakras, and doshas, and how trauma imprints influence thoughts, emotions, and behavior.
-
Learn how stress and trauma patterns differ across Ayurvedic constitutions.
-
Trace anxiety and depression somatic sensations back to childhood trauma experiences held within specific chakras.
-
Apply a clear, diagnostic-style framework to identify how trauma has created energetic imbalances showing up as anxiety or depression.
-
Provide clients with daily wellness practices to shift emotional imbalances.
...where ancient wisdom meets modern psychology
Facilitate Ayurvedic Constitution Sessions

Whether you're teaching yoga classes or retreats, share these interactive diagnostic tools with your students so they can learn to self-assess their doshic constitutions, chakras, and trauma patterns.
Deepen Your Consciousness
Studying Ayurvedic Psychology™ opens a deeper awareness of trauma patterns, building compassion for those struggling through greater understanding.
What can I do with this Course?

Module 1: Foundations of Ayurvedic Psychology
Explore the koshas, gunas, chakras, and doshas, and learn how trauma is stored in the body as “trauma packets.”
Module 2: Chakra Inventory & Energetic Patterns
Take inventory of the thoughts, sensations and emotions that may be stored as trauma packets within each chakra energy center. Learn somatic sensing to surface trauma imprints in imbalanced chakras.
Module 3: Doshas & Constitutional Typing
Study the three doshas, their tendencies, and how they relate to physical, mental, and emotional patterns. Learn the daily rhythms and supportive self-care approaches for each constitutional imbalance.
Module 4: Integration
Integrate Ayurvedic Psychology™ concepts by exploring the soul and shadow qualities of the doshas, the intersection of the emotional/mental koshas in tamas guna, and a simple four-question assessment method to help students identify imbalanced constitutions so you can provide high level recommendations.
Ayurvedic Psychology Assessment Toolkit
You'll receive a practical toolkit with worksheets, prompts, and assessment questions for ongoing use with your students and clients.
